How to Join the California Havapoo Family
Application Process
Havapoos range from 25-35. Once you have submitted an application and it is approved, then I will accept the non-refundable $500 deposit to be placed on the waitlist. Your deposit is applied to the balance of your puppy. All puppies are $2500 and your $500 deposit is applied to the purchase of your puppy. You may email your application to CASheepadoodles@gmail.com or mail it to PO Box 1900, Yuba City, CA 95992.
Once your application is approved and deposit received, you become a member of California Havapoos As a member, you receive a lifetime of support, discounts for added furry family members and invitations to our So Cal and Nor Cal reunions!
Once on the list
You will be contacted when there is a litter available for you to choose from. I post weekly birthday photos of the puppies and a 5 week video to introduce each pup so that you can see their progress. Picking day begins when the puppies are around 6 weeks old. I schedule 30 minute private appointments on a Saturday. You are welcome to come and choose your puppy and if you are not able to come, I will do a live video and introduce each available puppy to you. You are never obligated to take a puppy if you do not find one that is perfect for your family, you will just remain on the list till the next opportunity.
Wellness Exam
I have a wonderful veterinarian that comes to my home to examine the puppies when they are around 6-7 weeks old. They receive a full wellness exam and their first round of their puppy immunization. I also deworm the puppies at 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 weeks old.
Going Home Day
Once the puppies are 8 weeks old, you have a week to pick up your puppy. Your puppy will go home with his/her health record, a toy and blanket with the scent of momma and littermates, a leash and collar, puppy food, and a California Sheepadoodle bag..
Stay In Touch
Once your puppy goes home with you, the relationship with California Havapoos does not end. I love to stay in touch, answer any questions and receive updates and photos from my families. We host 2 reunions a year, one in So Cal and one in Nor Cal. The So Cal reunion is typically the first Saturday in October and the Nor Cal reunion is the last Saturday in October.

Desi is close to 5 months old and very affectionate. He took to his crate well and he has been friendly with people and dogs. He loves to play with my son’s 70 lb Sheepadoodle. He beds down around 9 and sleeps until 6:30. We loved our Portuguese water dogs, but Desi is a better size and much more easy-going personality. He’s very polite at any doorway and waits to be invited thru. Highly recommend Jill and CA Havapoos and CA Sheepadoodles.
