Why the Havapoo?

For many years we have had our California Sheepadoodle family members ask us to breed a smaller breed as they have trusted us but was also wanting a smaller pup too. So, after 10 years of breeding, we are ready to make the transition! I have researched smaller breeds for about 4 years, and I keep coming back to the Havanese as our goal is to breed a family friendly pup that will range from 7-35 lbs. The Havanese is cuddly, great with young children and other dogs, very social and adapts very well. The poodle is known for their brains, very affectionate with their family and small children and other dogs, but very protective and they also adapt well. So the Havapoo is the perfect small family friendly non-shedding, great with allergy sufferers and willing to please family member!

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to provide our dogs and puppies with a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. We have spacious indoor kennels that are heated and air-conditioned, as well as large outdoor play areas where they can run and play. We also have an on-site veterinary care and a team of experienced staff to ensure that our pups receive the best possible care.

Bosa the Havapoo is getting so big but he remains our tiny pup compared to big sisters Lola (Sheepadoodle) and Eloise (Retired Mama )

Bosa is such a happy boy- his tail is always wagging! Even when I leave the room for a few moments and come back, he runs over to me like he’s so happy to see me.

He loves going on walks in the morning with his sisters, then he comes home & passes out all day- right at my feet while I work. He’s so smart and knows how to ring the bells on the back door to tell us he needs to go out, he’s also scratched on the bedroom door in the middle of the night when he’s needed to go out- very impressive. Bosa has an adorable tiny bark we have heard a few times but isn’t a very vocal dog like his sisters who alert me to every person, animal or shadow that passes our house He’s always interested in new people and LOVED Thanksgiving with a whole lotta family. Bosa makes us all giggle a lot and sat right next to his Grandma while she ate her thanksgiving dinner- which was too cute. He’s recently

Bosa plays tug of war with Lola’s tail and bites on Eloise’s ears and the two big dogs are gentle but rough house with him so well- even if they took a few days to figure out this guy was sticking around.

We are so glad we added Bosa the Havapoo to our family- he’s smart & sweet, funny & friendly. We love our sheepadoodle & poodle but the Havapoo is such an adorable breed- great size & temperament. I highly recommended adding a Havapoo from Jill to your family

Meet Our Wonderful Team

Jamie

We met Jamie several years ago as he was in the Feather River Men’s Center, a 1-year rehabilitation program. My husband and I love this wonderful ministry as we have seen so many lives transformed through the love of Christ. Jamie graduated in 2017 and we are so proud of him! We are so blessed to have him and his son living on our property. Jamie works here full time caring for all the animals here. He has the biggest heart and is so loving, kind and gentle.

I met this sweet young lady through a friend at church. Sarah also, lived for a few months at our clean and sober living home, "Qavah House". She is married to the man of her dreams! You will get to meet her if she delivers one of our special packages of love!

You will get to meet Luna if your puppy is traveling on an airplane. Luna is our flight nanny who travels onboard with your future puppy. She is so wonderfully loving and sweet and adores our puppies so much, that she now is a proud owner of her own! Luna is the best!

Bailey and Tori deliver puppies for me whenever Sarah is not available. They are a wonderful, caring young couple that will also deliver your special package to your home. Tori hopes someday to be one of our guardian families, but they are busy growing their own family.

Dr Ettlin has worked with California Sheepadoodles since 2018. He is thorough, caring and very personable. He will always answer my calls 7 days a week and make our pups a priority.

One Big Happy Family

My name is Elke and my husband and I own 9 dogs ranging from 60 to 175 pounds, including 3 beautiful, Sheepdoodles that we acquired at, Ca Sheepadoodles aka Jill’s Ranch.

This summer our family contemplated adopting a small breed that’d be easy to travel with so just made sense for us to contact Jill. In late September we brought home, Zeus, the tiny Havapoo. Our perfect #10! Our 6 children and granddaughter fell in love with Zeus the second he arrived.

Watching Zeus silliness is therapeutic for everyone. He’s also super smart! Potty training only took a few days and learning leash manners was a breeze.

We loved Zeus soooo much we went back for seconds… just a few days later we adopted Zeus’s, sister, Iris. Why stop at 10 when 11 is our lucky number?

Honey is in her wonderful guardian home hear the coast. Her family love to take her camping and to the beach. Her best friend is Beau as they are inseparable. Beau is kind enough to let us borrow Honey while she has her puppies. Thank you Beau!

Lady is a small standard poodle and she is just a wonderful momma! She is a fun outgoing girl who love everyone!

Betty Boop is a pure bred AKC registered Havanese and will be a future momma to Havapoo babies.

Mr Peabody is handsome AKC registered Havanese who is a big fun loving boy. He will be papa to pure bred Havanese and Havapoos!
